sick day...

I am sick. :(

Sinus pressure + itchy throat = no sleeping.

Know what the worst part about trying to sleep with a stuffed up head is? When you are comfortable for a while sleeping on one side and then you roll over and your sinuses drain from one side to the other and you can't breathe for a while... that stinks. So I got NO sleep last night, despite the 30 minute steaming shower I took, hoping to knock the ick out of my skull. Not so much. Popped a few nighttime cold pills, nada. So here I am, feeling like I have a head full of goop and wearing a highly attractive breathe-right nose strip. Man, I feel sexy.

Good thing Bob is off doing a few side jobs and Griffin is spending some quality "man time" with my dad... gives me some time to be lazy and not feel guilty that I should be taking care of somebody else. Hoping to catch a nap and get rid of this nasty little cold.

Last night was a good time... so many smiling faces at the auction :) Thanks for the giggles and enthusiasm, ladies. You really do make my "job" so worthwhile :) Will post pics when I'm feeling a little better... there is no way my tech-tard brain could handle that right now.

p.s. big Thanks to MelisseR for picking up my slack at the store today. I would NOT have been a very happy camper :(
