socks and mom's "college experience"

<---- goodies my mom brought back for me from her weekend trip to Maine with my aunt :)

My favorite things... SOCKS! Seriously, I love socks. Warm fuzzy socks, cute fancy socks... I couldn't even begin to tell you how many pair I have. It's borderline compulsive, this little addiction.

It was so sweet of my mom to think of me while she spent the weekend with my aunt and cousin... get this.. she spent the weekend in my cousin's dorm room. Yes. My mother spent the weekend amongst drunk college students. It is somewhat disturbing that my mother spent the weekend in a college dorm when I, myself, never had the experience. It is always so entertaining to hear mom tell stories about her adventures and listen to her points of view... (I wonder if she did any keg-stands?)

So, check this out...

1. Laundry (I'm guessing at least four loads..)
2. Pay bills (YUCK!!)
3. Oil change for the Saturn
4. Wal*mart run.. I haven't been in over a month!!
5. Grocery shopping
6. Town Hall for copy of marriage certificate
7. Social Security Office... oops, I realized I never changed my name at soc. sec. when I got married!
8. work on store stuff... BIG ol' list of projects to complete..

I completed everything on my list! (sort of)

I got a good head start on the store-related projects and am planning on heading out to use the studio space with erin this afternoon to accomplish a bit more. Speaking of erin...

We are all heading out to celebrate erin's big 2-1 for fun times (and "chips and salsa") at Sam Diegos this evening. We will most certainly take an abundance of photos, and I'll try to find a few that will be post-worthy - there may be some censoring that might need to be done :)
