"A little courtesy won't kill you"
That is what the bumper sticker on the back of the red car that cut me off as I was leaving work to snag a baked potato from Wendy's before my class last night said.
For serious.
Are youkidding me?!?! This dude just cut me off, wagging his finger back and forth at me... reprimanding me for even thinking I could pull out of the parking lot only to be immediately stopped behind a long line of cars waiting at the STOP sign at the end of the road? Un*flipping*real.
Looking forward to the day ahead of me... teaching my handwriting techniques class at the store this morning then working for a couple of hours before heading back to Falmouth to attend the annual "Kids Night" event at the Falmouth Rod and Gun Club with the fam. I know, "kids night" at a gun club? I'm not kidding. It's a fun time that brings all the kiddos together with hay rides, a moonwalk, games, raffles, a barbeque and candy.candy.candy! My dad has been a member of the R&G Club for as long as I can remember, and we always looked forward to Kids Night. It makes me happy to be still enjoying the event with Griffin.
So they don't raffle off BB Guns anymore. Whatever. Griff can still score a floatie for the pool or a fishing pole or a water gun or any other assorted random prize. Will be sure to post pics tomorrow.
Oh, and guess what? I have the whole weekend off. As in Friday. And Saturday. And Sunday. I must be shackin' up with my manager or something to score a *sweet* deal like that on the schedule. Either that or she just wants something from me... or my hot elbows. ;)
You crack me up. I actually thought that bumper sticker was cute but it seems like those things are always on the most ironic of vehicles. And I think I've stayed in Falmouth before. Is it in the cape cod area? If I remember right it was BEAUTIFUL there. It was long ago before I got into taking pictures of everything so I'd love to go back someday and take it all in again. I'm so jealous that someone could actually live in such a pretty and laid back town. Kay, I'll quit rambling, in case there's a Falmouth, Minnesota or something that's completely different. LOL How's the little princess doin? Pixel is finally starting to calm down a bit. LOL Lovin' her to pieces though. :)
