Great night.
We were bouncing off of clouds and we were cruel and we were cornflake girls and we were precious things and we were waitresses and we were m.i.l.f.s (well, only me, the other three by default) and we were dirty girls (I even have the t-shirt to prove it)...
Seriously, what an amazing show. Her energy is crazy and she can belt out the tunage like no other. I am so psyched (yeah, I'm back in the 7th grade with that one..) to be seeing her again tonight... so psyched.
Yeah, we even I-SPY'ed Tash (Tori junior) before the show.. totally her, total PI work done by Erin and myself.
My only complaint for the night was that we were apparently seated in the disgusting-substance-on-the-floor-section where Shurkus nearly lost a shoe. A quick little moppy-moppy by the nice moppy-man and we were all set.
Oh, wait. Another complaint (go figure!!). We were also seated in the who-are-these-freaking-morons-infront-of-us-who-keep-getting-up-every-3-minutes-to-get-another-beer section. Let me explain. Tori shows are generally sit-down events. As in you SIT in your SEAT to ENJOY the SHOW. Those four concepts went completely unknown to the asshats who were a few rows infront of us. Seriously, they were freaking annoying and drunk. Maybe they should have just gone to the BBC and hung out with Liz Solomon and her karaoke machine.
One more thing... Miss Massachusetts was there. And Tori sang her a song. It was pretty entertaining.
Tori also told us (and by "us" I mean me and jenn and erin and stacy, not necessarily the entire audience ;P) that she loves Boston, And the charming, character-filled Orpheum Theatre. And the rats. They remember her from years past, but she's lost a little weight since then.
Tonight's show shall be fantastical. Me and Shurkus. Waaaaaaaay up close (if I remember correctly), and hopefully out of the sticky floor/drunk and annoying section.
<---- Just a lil' something I was working on yesterday morning before heading out for my fun-filled day. Cornflake Girl is probably one of the first songs I had heard of Tori's... certainly one of her best known to the general public, I would wager.
Honestly, I tried to be a *cornflake girl*. I tried to be cool and popular and what everyone else thought I should be... for a loooooooong time.
Guess what? I think I'm more of a fruity pebbles girl.
Definately. Ask anyone.
Looks like fun! :)
