... I don't want to be part of that crowd...
American Idol season 7 premeired on Tuesday night.
Because the BBC is such a rockin' place to be after 8 pm on a Tuesday (?), several of us had the opportunity to veg out in the completely empty back room and check out the first installment of American Idol, season 7.
There were a few hysterical moments, like the "no sex allowed" guy, who was really 38 years old and is a counselor to troubled youth (or something like that). He wrote an inspirational/motivational song that he was convinced should be played on radio stations across the nation. The idea is a good one, and I'm a good example of why teens should wait to have sex (unless you want to be a mom at age 18... or younger in many cases...).
But, for real, dude.
My other favorite of the night was the guy with the heavy accent (Indian?) who said he was auditioning because his friend told him "I am sexy face".
I.AM.SEXY.FACE.
I am sexy face = my new favorite thing to say. It ranks right up there with *seriously*, *totally*, *flippin' sweet*, *fo'sho*, and several others that probably most definitely aren't polite enough to post here on the blog (but if you know me, you know what they are....)
Now, I'm not one to pick on people because of their ethnicity (unless we're talking about how extremely Portuguese Bob is, and that's all good because I myself have some of that green blood running through my veins), their race, their orientation, their religion. However, I am one to find humor in the ridiculous things people do. If you watched AI last night and caught some of the re-donculous things people were coming up with, it was totally worth a laugh.
Remember, kids, no sex allowed.
what if it's my birthday? can i have sex then? because i'm pretty sure birthday sex is the best sex one can have.... i'm just saying :)

"I am sexy face" -- I see a scrapbook page title in that quote's future! Last night was hilarious! But why no love for princess Leia? :( j/k

I liked the guy who sang to Paula. "If she were Columbo I'd Peter Faulkner." Mostly I just watch for Paula anyway...
