He is my *brother man*. He gives the BEST kisses and is so curious and has that *trouble* look in his eyes all the time. He has the CRAZIEST eyelashes.

Today is the first *official* World Autism Awareness Day.
Today, Autism has a face. For me, that face is my godson's. It has been a long 2 1/2 years for his family... for his amazing Mama, especially. We are beginning to understand more about him, about the way he "works", about the special things he has to offer. While it's not an easy road to travel, it is one that is taken with caution and trepidation and fear... it is opening so many doors. He is adding words to his vocabulary. He is trying to communicate. He is getting frustrated. He is learning. He is growing and living and loving.
He is more than just a number.

Thanks for making this and spreading the word about Autism, I love it. He loves you sooooo much. Your rite he is a very special little guy and I'm proud to call him Son.
