Isn't she lovely?
This is my very best friend in the whole world, with a belly full of babies. She is beautiful and I love her.
We spent the afternoon watching Juno and eating Papa Ginos delivery. We hollered at the dogs for running around like crazies and digging in the yard. We set up a rockin' photo studio in my kitchen with green flannel sheets as a backdrop... I was fresh out of black satin sheets, so the old green ones had to do.
Side note: I' m thinking if I were ever to open a *professional* photography studio, it would be called "Green Sheet Studio". Whaddayathink??
It was raining all morning and into the afternoon, so all of the cool outdoor shots I wanted were pretty much out of the question. These are two of the last pictures I snapped, and they are probably my favorites. I have no idea how to edit photos on my computer, so I'll be headed off to Ritz later to play with them a little bit, maybe convert a few to black and white.
I am so thankful that Tania let me photograph her and her bulging belly. Connor and Avery are safe and sound inside that big ol' belly, cookin' a little bit longer before they make their way into the world. I can't wait to meet them and hold them and smell them and kiss their little baby toes. I am in love with them already...
I also can't wait to tell them what an amazing mama they have. I will make sure they know just how very special she is... we will make handprint paintings for Christmases and Mother's Days and we will wrap them up in bright paper and give them to their mama.
Connor and Avery are lucky babies, and I am a lucky friend. Thank you, Tania, for being my bestest.
Melissa, those are wonderful pictures. You amaze me on the great work you do. Tania is a great person, and will make a GREAT MOM. We are luky to have her in our lives. I couln't ask for a better cousin:). I can't wait to see Connor & Avert too. We are going to have to fight over them. LOL! well great job on the pics. I love love them!!!!

Connor and Avery are so lucky that they will have a very beautiful "Auntie" Melissa in their lives. I have no doubt that you will show them how to appreciate all the wonderful things around them just by being you.
