So we were hit with 8+ inches of the white stuff at our house overnight, and there are flurries in the sky again today... poor Bobio ;) For he is the master of the shovel and snow blower... although I believe this snow is too heavy for any sort of blowing...
The girla-girl is none to pleased about this whole turn of events. We had to shovel a path off the back deck for her to find a place to do her business (which is an entirely different sort of businiss than the kind erin practices, just to clarify)... and even then she does this funky i-don't-want-my-back-legs-touching-the-snow thing. She literally looks like a wheel barrow, walking gingerly on her front paws ans barely allowing the back end to hit the snow... SO funny to watch. Now she is curled comfortably on the back of the couch, safe and sound, just like she should be.
Griff has claimed his stake on the couch playing a little bit of Wii before heading out to demolish the back yard... we have a reserve of snow gear waiting in the wings.
Bobio, well, we's outside taking care of the mess. Good thing we have a small driveway, and that he is strong like ox and has no problem swinging that snow around like he's Paul Bunion or something. Or He-man. Or something. Don't worry, he'll have a nice hot cup pof coffee waiting for him when he comes back in.
As for me... well, I'm doing very important things like blogging and drinking tea. There's a load of laundry waiting to be turned over to the dryer, and SERIOUS plans for accomplishing some tasks today... no more effing around, people. Well, maybe just a little bit.
Hopefully we'll be heading over to the casa-de-gonsalves (or "the love shack" as listed in my cell phone directory) for some family holiday festivities tonight... we'll play it by ear and see if there will actually be anywhere to park.
p.s. this video makes me laugh on so many levels... mostly because of the foreign subtitles, and the fact that the chicken dance song is playing in the background. I feel like I'm at a portuguese wedding or something (my own??? ;)
I refuse to play your chinese food mind games!
annnnd then?
