Hey, party people :)
I was in NJ over the weekend with this lovely girl, celebrating the impending birth of her baby-girl. We were able to spend a little bit of time together around the baby shower... and we didn't take a SINGLE picture together. Not one. We were too busy chatting, I suppose ;)
I did snap a few pictures at her shower, but must have bumped the camera at some point because many of the shots turned out a bit blurry :(
Cutest.Mantle.Ever. She arranged pink tulips in simple vases and hung ultrasound pics from pink tulle... everyone was ooh-ing and ahh-ing over it. It was so amazing to see the progression of the images side-by-side. The human body is an amazing thing (especially when there is a little mini-me growing inside it!).
The bump! Breanne wore the cutest pink polka-dot dress for the occasion, a major score from the GAP, so she reported ;) It was all I could do not to molest her belly the whole time. I LOVE that bump!
Cuppy-cakes! Sooooooo delicious.
I was so glad to be able to share this time with my far-away-friend. I'm bummed that I will miss the birth of her babe, but hopefully I will be able to sneak away to visit after she's born.
Bobio and I did spend some quality time together over the weekend, too. We ate yummy continental breakfast in the mornings and dined at the Ruby Tuesday restaurant at the hotel... and slept on the worlds HARDEST bed EVER. Seriously. I should have tried the floor instead :p
All the travel was fun-filled... but after everything was said and done I was glad to be home, sleeping in my own bed, catching up on Griffin's weekend excitement and snuggling with my girla-smirla on the couch.
Today brings fun things like store-related emails, digging through health insurance garbage (trying to find affordable coverage is IMPOSSIBLE), making killer Kale Soup, and picking my cousin up form the airport for her spring break. So much for a day off ;)
