I was inspired by shurkus' catch-up blog post this morning, and thought I would do one of my own to detract from the fact that I have neglected the blog for a few-too-many days.
These kiddos turned ONE on Saturday, and had a huge Birthday Bash to celebrate with family and friends on Sunday. Avery was ALL ABOUT HER CAKE. Connor? Not-so-much. It was a fantastic time :)
This little "friend" is building a home under our grill. Unfortunately, there will be an eviction notice sent to the tennant this evening, as proper occupancy permits were not granted. Hasta la vista, little bee.
enough.with.the.pollen.
My eyes are hugely irritated by the masses of yellow debris that filters in through the window screens on a daily basis. I seriously feel like someone has poured bags of sand into my eyeballs. so.not.fun.
On another note: Hello Sunshine and golden hilights and freckles. It's nice to finally hook up with you again after such a long absence. Please continue your visit as long as you like.
... because I was harassed by Breanne. This is my 22 week *bump. It's not a great picture because:
a) I took it myself
b) I am in no way, shape, or form photogenic... even from the shoulders down
c) I was standing in the entryway in my underwear, hoping nobody tried to pay a visit and I would have to explain why I was standing there half naked with a camera
d) all of the above
Maybe when I'm totally *bump*a*licious* I will ask someone to snap a few semi-decent photos. I love my husband, but I might as well hand the camera over to the dog and ask her to take a picture of me because it would probably turn out just as well as any Bobio would take (sorry, babe!).
In other bean-related news, I'm happy to say that she has marked patterns of movement. I find myself waiting for her wiggles in the morning while checking emails and blogs before work, and again when I collapse on the couch at the end of the day. Bobio FINALLY felt her move on Sunday evening, something I know he has been waiting for. I think he finally feels connected to her on a physical level. Life is good.
Last but not least, Tori's performance on the Late Late Show Monday night. Thanks to E-Ho,the blogless wonder, I was made aware of her appearance on the show the morning AFTER it took place. Good thing there is such a thing as YOUTUBE where I can catch up on these sorts of missed experiences. The new album is really growing on me, and she played my top track pick on the show. I also find it amusing that the album is titled "Abnormally Attracted to Sin", which is SO Tori, and a little bit Melissa ;)
ahhh those babies are ginormous. and i love it.
