If there was an ongoing wrestling match at my house between paper-related and fabric-related projects, I am finding that the fabric goodies are winning.
Nesting. I am totally nesting.
I had some fun with putting this quilty-thing together yesterday morning. I wasn't sure if I was going to keep it for the Bean or put it up for sale in the ETSY Shop. I reasoned with myself that I do indeed have another 8-ish weeks ahead of me as I continue cooking this one bean salad, which will give me PLENTY of time to use up the fabric stash I have before her arrival. So, into the shop it went this morning. It matches perfectly with one of the little gifty sets I listed a few days ago, and I'm thinking they would make the greatest of presents for a soon-to-be-mom (like me, only I'm the one making them).
I have some paper projects that are in various states of done-ness that are the next things on my to-do list. Hopefully you'll get some sneaky-peeks of those within the next few days.
I'm off to work today, then Bobio and I get to attend the "so, you're having a baby... come and learn how to do it" class at Falmouth Hospital tomorrow. No, that isn't the real name of the class, it's just the name I gave it ;) We'll see how Mr. Oliveira does when it comes time to watch the various birth videos....
Sunday is the Falmouth Road Race and I am high-tailing it to work early in the morning... on the other side of the Cape :) Have fun dealing with all the traffic folks ;)
this is gorgeous! If I knew I was having a girl, I would go snatch it up :) We just finished our class and are "certified" to have a baby. It's amazing how much you forget since the first one (our son is 5 1/2 and new babe due in 5 weeks)! Have fun nesting :)
