I LOVE my home. I LOVE being a Cape Cod girl. I LOVE the beach. I LOVE that I am at a point in my life where I can TRULY appreciate all I have :)
Boosie spent her first day at the beach on Thursday, and it went so so so well! Big Brother was a HUGE help. and I think we will be in for many more beach days throughout the next two months.
((( A BIG smooch for brother from the Boosie Girl!! )))
The weather was sunny-ish, cloudy-ish and windy-ish. It was nice and cool, sometimes even a tad chilly when the sun disappeared behind the clouds for too long. We slathered on sunscreen multiple times to protect that new baby skin, and she is always a great hat wearer.
((girlie toes in the sand!!))
Of course we had to snap the obligatory toes-in-the-sand photo... the first of MANY I am sure. The sand at Old Silver Beach is probably the softest on all the Cape. The OSB crew is pretty decent company to hang around with, too ;)
We joined these two fabulous kiddos and their parents (along with many others... hi dawn! hi tammy! hi wendy! hi everyone else i'm forgetting!!)....
Seriously, with the cuteness. Between her straw hat and his fishermans cap, I just about keeled over from the adorable factor. They totally belong with all the retired folks hanging out in Miami Beach, right along side the Golden Girls ;)
We really had a total blast. I need to invest in a decent bathingsuit, a better cooler, and one of those twisty-things you screw into the sand to stick your beach umbrella (-ella-ella-ay-ay-ay) in. We already picked up one of those rolling totes to pack all our goodies into to roll up onto the beach instead of trying to carry everything and dropping half our crap very nice beach equpiment all over the parking lot.
It was a good day. I'll take at least a dozen more, please, before the summer ends. I have to make use of that freakin' parking sticker :p
see... YOU got to got the beach while I was working :P we're even... just sayin'
