Amy - Cape Cod Mommies

Thank you for this post! Some days are really tough. This past weekend Mr. No Nap at all refused to eat barely anything, pitch temper tantrums, and so on and so on and so on. By Sunday as my eyes were forcing themselves shut on a ride back from over the bridge, I realized how I just really wanted to crawl into my bed and have me time. Instead I got a nice surprise with a little toddler crawling in with me saying "Guggle guggle momma?" And we snuggled away. Thanks for venting what I'm sure we all feel and thanks for reminding us what is really important. <3

I have been having those days more often then not. I'm exhausted but I wouldn't change it for the world either.

That would be a great name for a book of thoughts for Moms. "Some Days I Just Want To Pee By Myself!"

I still feel like that and my kids have kids.

Well said, Melissa- I hear ya- and thank you thank you thank you. Sometimes I need to hear that even those who look like they know what they're doing (um, you) feel the same way.

Melissa, it was so good to see you today and I hope that you had a good afternoon with the girls. You always amaze me with your writing you are so honest as to how you feel and I agree with Patty you definitely should use the line "some days I just want to pee by myself" as a book title - <3
