Core'dinations and Hampton Art are doing a full blown blog hop, and I'm super excited to share a fun layout as part of the experience! Stop by the Core'dinations blog AND the Hampton Art blog to check out the details for some fun give aways.
To create the embossed butterfly border, I used a 12" embossing folder from Darice and used a hammer to lightly tap over the folder to make the impression on the paper. No fance machinery required!
I stamped and cut a series of flowers from Hampton Art onto the back side of Core'dinations core essentials cardstock. Layering the stamped images with foam adhesive to add dimension is one of my favorite ways to add some *pop* to my pages. A little bit of glitter and bling doesn't hurt, either ;)
There are several prizes up for grabs this week, so head over to the Hampton Art and Core'dinations blogs to find out how to win. There are some great designers showing off their creations today as well, so visit their blogs and don't forget to leave comment love!

Melissa, this is a great layout! You learn something new every day! Use a hammer instead of an embossing machine? Wow, I wonder if that might be easier than all the stacking of sandwiches, shimming and cranking through etc. (lol) Just give me a hammer. I'm cracking up here. As a matter of fact my hubby gave me a cute little floral print hammer once. It could be my designated embossing hammer :)
